Carmen Davailus left her career after 40 years as a nurse practitioner to document the lives of families impacted by dementia. In addition to publishing an award-winning book, Carmen is an international speaker, photojournalist, Alzheimer’s advocate and Founder of the Doggies for Dementia Foundation.
Through her daily interactions, Carmen approaches her new path with humility and a focus upon service, allowing 1000s to witness the power of photos and stories which become treasured pieces of family history.
