Frequently, the first sign that a youth is ‘at risk’ is an attempt. 24 years ago, Jackie Simmons, Mission Driven Mentor and Co-Founder of the Teen Suicide Prevention Society, experienced this first-hand as the parent of a child who thankfully survived.
